Individual sessions
Chances are, you have not yet released the emotional energy charge of your fear, grief, anger or shame, which is keeping your core belief (for example 'not good enough' or 'not lovable') alive and giving it power to run your life. Rebirthing breathwork facilitates the emotional release, but this is is only part the equation. I complement it with range of mental processing techniques including Inner Child work, Inner Voice Dialogue, NLP, Dysfunctional Pattern Clearing and Soul Retrieval. Because of the nature of the defences of our unconscious pain, a commitment to a series of sessions is recommended to ensure that you are taken the very core of what is making aspects of your life not work. For this reason I usually recommend people begin their work with me by having a minimum of three individual sessions. I believe this enables clients to have a truly authentic Rebirthing experience, allowing them to go to the greatest depths of their being and achieve the best results. Why three sessions?There are several important benefits to taking up the three individual
session package. Because
Rebirthing can be such an intense and profound experience, the first
session is usually quite
different to anything people have ever experienced before. (See What is
Rebirthing? for a more in depth description of the process.) Leonard Orr, the recognized founder of Rebirthing, recommends a minimum of 10 one-to-one sessions with a trained professional to really experience the full benefit of Rebirthing. What does it involve?Your individual sessions begin when you receive your "Individual Session Pack". This includes some pre-session instructions that need to be adhered to for you to get the maximum benefit from the sessions. And just as important, it contains a detailed Confidential Client History form, which starts the whole process. You bring this with you to the first session. The sessions are two and a half hours in duration and are recommended 7 to 14 days apart. This is a guideline only - some people choose to do all three within a week while others space them out a month apart. After the initial three sessions you will already have gauged the results and know enough about the process to be in a position to know what you need. Some people are satisfied with three, others find the issue they thought was stopping them in their life is not the real issue, and there are other things that now need more attention. Others get what they wanted out of the initial three sessions and say something like '' If I feel this good after three, what will another three do?'' and they continue to use the technique on a regular (e.g. monthly) basis.
